About Leonie - 5 of 9

So she did, enrolling in a one year BTEC National Diploma course in Musical Theatre at the South West Academy of Dramatic Art (S.W.A.D.A.) at Filton College in Bristol, playing the Baker's Wife in "Into the Woods" for LoganWest and joining the Trowbridge Amateur Operatic Society (T.A.O.S.) and landing the role of Nancy in their production of "Oliver". She finished the year with her first show at S.W.A.D.A. - "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat" taking the role of one of the narrators.

And so we come to 2007 and Leonie's busiest year yet on the stage. First up was "It's Showtime" at S.W.A.D.A. playing Bumboloreena in Cats, Ellen/Chorus in Miss Saigon and appearing in the chorus for Hair. In February she auditioned for Simon Cowell's search for Sandy for "Grease is the Word", got through to the second round, had a fleeting appearance on television and didn't get any further.
