About Leonie - 3 of 9

In 2004 Leonie started her A Level studies taking Theatre Studies, English Literature and Music (even though she didn't take music at GCSE), continuing with her Musical Theatre exams, singing lessons, keyboard lessons and also taking up the violin. She appeared with Potterne Pantomime as Lola Bear in "In-Toy Galactic Story", Katie Brown in "Calamity Jane" at George Ward School and Consuela in "West Side Story" for LoganWest Productions.

2005 saw her donning a traffic warden's uniform for her role as Rita (Meter Maid!!!) in "Crafty Crooks and Panto Peelers" for Potterne Pantomime. She then played Barbara in "Summer Holiday" for LoganWest and Hermia in an open air school production of a "A Midsummer Nights Dream". She finished the year with her dream role - Eponine in "Les Miserables" with LoganWest Productions, (Leonie has always said she has two ambitions, one to play Eponine locally and the other to play Eponine in the West End - One down one to go).
