There is something refreshingly true to the roots of musical theatre when two school friends are so inspired by a tune that they deicde to stage the show from which it comes.

Mike Patterson, the director and one of the trio of performers, and Liam Howlett the musical director were so taken with one song from Jonathan Larson's work that they set about launching their own production.

It is an autobiographical piece about a struggling New York composer approaching his 30th birthday. His dancer girl friend wants marriage, his best mate believes he should join him in dollar-making Madison Avenue.
